Summary:
Nick is remembering all the different people that attended Gatsby's parties. On a trip to New York, Nick finds out that Gatsby is from San Francisco, he went to Oxford, and his wealth is from his deceased parents. Gatsby gets pulled over by a police for speeding but he got out of it because he has done him a favor in the past. Nick meets Meyer Wolfshiem at lunch. After, Nick meets Jordan and she tells him all about Gatsby. He finds out that Gatsby is in love with Daisy. Gatsby wants Nick to invite Daisy for tea so Gatsby can see her. He purposely bought the mansion that is in West Egg so he could be across the bay from her.

c)small, Jewish, and small eyes. He is a gambler and is all about business. Wolfshiem focuses on making money. He is a smart guy because he hasn't gotten caught for the World Series scandal.
d)Wolfshiem is a friend of Gatsbys and does business with him. He is another wealthy and greedy character who disregards honesty or integrity as long as he gains money.

Gatsby cares how people perceive him. He is always trying to prove himself and his worth.
